In order to establish a new model of home-school collaborative education and unite educational forces, on the morning of December 6th, the Senior High School Department of our school held a grand establishment ceremony of the 8th Parent Committee in the first-floor meeting room of the administrative building. Vice Principal Xiao Qingke, Assistant Principal Xu Zuitai, Director Wang Yinchai of the International Department and Deputy Directors Jiang Shengyou and Zhu Yanyan, along with all the members of the Parent Committee, engaged in in-depth discussions on core issues such as school development, student management, and home-school collaboration. Together, they planned the blueprint for students' growth. The meeting was presided over by Deputy Director Xu Haihong of the Senior High School Department.
Initially, at the beginning of the meeting, on behalf of Anqing Foreign Language School, Director Xu extended a warm welcome to the members of the Parent Committee,  introducing the attending leaders and the members of the Parent Committee. Evidently, the friendly interaction enabled both the school and the parents to quickly get closer, setting the stage for the subsequent efficient collaboration.
Subsequently, Principal Xiao and Assistant Principal Xu Zuitai presented appointment letters to the members of the Parent Committee. More remarkably, not only is a piece of appointment letter a symbol of honor, but also a transmission of responsibility, indicating that all parents have officially become important partners in Anqing Foreign Language School's educational endeavors, who will work together with the school to jointly safeguard the growth of students.
In addition, Director Xu gave a detailed interpretation of the regulations of the Parent Committee, pointing out that the Parent Committee aims to build a communication platform between home and school, and inviting parents to participate in and supervise the democratic management of the Senior High School Department, support the school's teaching and educational work, offer suggestions for the development of the Senior High School Department, and spread advanced management concepts and scientific methods, with the goal of jointly cultivating talents through the collaboration of home and school.
Furthermore, Assistant Principal Xu Zuitai gave a detailed report to the parents on the work of the Senior High School Department,  comprehensively introducing the recent achievements and future development plans of the Senior High School Department in terms of department introduction, moral education management, teaching management, and teaching performance. Evidently, the detailed report enabled the parents to fully understand Anqing Foreign Language School's educational philosophy and achievements, further enhancing their trust and support for the school's work.
At the end of the meeting, all the participants took a group photo together as a memento. The smiles captured by the camera froze the warm moment of unity between home and school, also witnessing the official launch of the 8th Parent Committee, which carried the beautiful expectations of jointly nurturing talents.
Last but not the least, after taking the group photo, the school leaders accompanied the members of the Parent Committe to visit the campus. Through on-site observation, parents experienced the new atmosphere of the campus firsthand, gaining a deep understanding of children's learning and living environment. More remarkably, parents highly praised Anqing Foreign Language School's meticulous management approach and the strong educational atmosphere.
To summarize, with unity and shared purpose, we strive to cultivate talents together. The establishment of the 8th Parent Committee has provided a more stable communication and collaboration platform for home-school cooperation. Meanwhile, it's firmly believed that by working together, both home and school will be able to lay a solid foundation for children's growth and help them achieve all-round development.
